Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead People
- Provide matrix leadership and develop a network of location security focal points.
- Serve as ultimate accountable for guard force performance.
- Ensure adequate communication on security issues across the program locations.
- Provide advice and respond to training needs to develop staff safety and security competencies.
Protect the Organization
- Train and lead location for focal safety and security team on their security Plans
- Develop and manage national-level plans including the travel safety plan.
- Providing reports to National Management Team, provide operational input on plans and other matters under consideration of the leadership.
- Lead the development and review of security plans and procedures including contingency and crisis response plans for the National member.
- Monitor the reporting and data gathering of security incidents and generate analysis/reports on security trends.
- Communicate with stakeholders on key security developments and update plans.
- Dealing with diverse demands and pressure from different parts of the organization to often tight policies and procedures: Program locations, Regional Office and International Office as well as key stakeholders

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key external stakeholders inside and outside of the organization.
Develop and Innovate
Ensure professional development and continuous awareness of developments in the security profession.
Seek to apply learning and other innovation to safety and security program.
SAFEGUARDING(CHILD AND YOUTH, ADULT AND ASSET)
Conduct themselves per the Code of Conduct, Safeguarding and Local/Country Policies and Procedures;
Be vigilant about any possible form of abuse/harm, neglect, harassment, or exploitation against, children, youth and adults in personal and professional lives;
Report any safeguarding incident or concern within 24 hours to the Incident Management Team, focal person or concerned party through the defined channels for reporting the allegation
Responsible for taking part in awareness-raising sessions and capacity-building training in relation to safeguarding to prevent and protect children, young people, programme participants and co-workers from all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence, discrimination and harassment;
Education
Security training or any other relevant bachelor’s degree
Experiences
2 years of relevant experience within in Humanitarian International Organizations
Security skills developed in formal government experience including in the military, police, or a related discipline.
Good analytical and organizational skills
Positive working attitude and ability to work under high pressure.
Pro-active and self-motivated to learn and acquire additional competences needed for the job.
Prior experience in a military, police or other similar organization
