Job description

Drive our business growth and success in the Government sector by implementing and driving a strong and sustainable sales strategy for brand new Toyota vehicles, negotiate and close deals while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Profile request:

Key responsibilities

1. Consistently achieve vehicle sales targets and KPIs with specific focus on Government sector and its needs.

2. Regularly visit prospects and existing Government customers to sell Toyota products, build rapport, maintain top of mind awareness and capture voice of customer feedback per agreed visit and reporting targets.

3. Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires, and pre-qualifications.

4. Ensure tenders/bid submissions are completed to a high professional standard (to maximize our win rate) and submitted for Management review and sign off at least 3 working days ahead of the bid submission deadline.

5. Negotiate and closely follow up contracts with a view of maximizing customer satisfaction, business profitability and ensuring timely debt collection as per the agreed timelines.

6. Maintain, at all times, an accurate and reliable customer database with information, among others, on bid opening results, lost sales, your clients’ fleet sizes, vehicle composition, renewal cycles and key contact personnel.

Educational qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Sales and Marketing or related field.

Specific experience, knowledge & skills required

• At least 3 years’ experience in Sales with demonstrated ability in consistently exceeding sales targets.
• Prior experience in Government tender procedures and knowledge of PPDA regulations is a must.
• Ability to listen, build rapport with customers and qualify their requirements.
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to maximize business opportunities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
