Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer with a solid background in electrical engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and promoting our range of electrical products and solutions across Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in various regions of the country
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and industrial clients
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations to prospective clients
- Understand client needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Follow up on sales leads
- Meet or exceed sales targets and growth objectives
- Provide regular reports and market research to management
- Travel extensively within Uganda (up to 75% of the time)
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven sales experience in the electrical or engineering sector (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and applications
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the country
