Power Products Uganda Ltd is a trusted supplier and distributor of generators, power equipment, electrical products, and technical energy solutions. We serve corporate clients, SMEs, institutions, and households with reliable power solutions and excellent after-sales service. We are looking for a results-driven Sales Executive to help expand our customer base and drive revenue growth.

Job Purpose

The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, promoting company products and services, and achieving assigned sales targets. The ideal candidate should be proactive, persuasive, and passionate about sales and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new customers and sales opportunities.

  • Promote and sell generators, power equipment, and related products.

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Conduct field visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations.

  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.

  • Provide excellent after-sales support and customer follow-up.

  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

  • Identify new markets and potential partnerships.

  • Provide regular feedback to management on sales performance and market opportunities.

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and sales activities.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

  • Update customer databases and sales tracking systems.

  • Coordinate with finance and logistics teams for order processing and delivery.

Brand Promotion

  • Participate in marketing events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.

  • Represent the company professionally to enhance brand visibility.

  • Support digital and social media marketing initiatives when required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in sales, preferably in electrical, technical, or hardware products.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience in B2B and B2C sales is an added advantage.

  • Valid driving permit or riding skills are an added advantage.

  • Good presentation and product knowledge skills
