Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:
• Actively promote and sell aquaponics systems to households, institutions and community members.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and generate interest in the aquaponics initiative.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers.
Customer Engagement:
• Build and maintain positive relationships with potential and existing customers.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, concerns, and providing detailed information about the aquaponics systems.
Lead Generation:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to individuals, community groups, and local organizations.
• Utilize various channels, including social media, community events, and partnerships, to generate leads.
Collaboration:
• Collaborate with the project team to understand the technical aspects of aquaponics systems and effectively communicate the benefits to potential customers.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales to installation.
Data Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and leads.
• Prepare monthly reports on sales performance, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
Training and Development:
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Proactively seek opportunities for professional development within the field of sales and marketing.

Qualifications:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Current enrollment in a relevant program or recent graduate will be an added advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic about sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation.
• Previous experience in sales or customer service is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
