Job description

A Salesman for Foton Trucks will be responsible for selling Foton trucks, building customer relationships, and expanding market share. Key duties include prospecting for new customers, understanding customer needs, and following up on leads. You will also need to stay informed about market trends and competitor activity.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Relations:
    • Promote and sell Foton trucks to potential and existing customers, focusing on their specific needs and business requirements.
    • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Follow up on sales leads and convert them into sales.
  • Market Knowledge and Analysis:
    • Stay updated on Foton truck models, features, and benefits.
    • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities for sales growth.
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share.
  • Business Development:
    • Prospect for new customers, including cold calling and networking.
    • Identify potential new markets and develop strategies to enter them.
    • Participate in trade shows and industry events to promote Foton trucks.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Understand the technical specifications of Foton trucks and be able to explain them to customers.
    • Assist customers in selecting the appropriate truck for their needs.
    • Provide technical support to customers after the sale.

Qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive or heavy equipment industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills:

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., email, CRM software).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
