2. Roles and Responsibilities
a) Counselling Services:
Provide individual and group counselling to students on a range of issues including
academic performance, personal/social development, and career planning. o Develop and implement a comprehensive school counselling program that aligns
with the school’s mission and objectives. b) Academic Support:
Assist students in developing academic plans and setting realistic academic goals. o Monitor student progress and provide interventions to support students struggling
academically. c) Career Guidance:
Offer career counselling and exploration activities to help students identify their
interests and career paths. o Provide resources and support for college / university career readiness, including
application processes and vocational training opportunities. d) Crisis Intervention:
Respond to student crises and provide immediate support and intervention. o Develop and implement prevention and intervention programs to address issues
such as bullying, substance abuse, and mental health concerns.

4. Qualification, Skills and Knowledge
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (Upper) in your subject specialty from a reputable university. Must have scored in your respective subject specialty a Distinction and a B Principal
pass at your “O” and “A” level respectively. Hold a valid counseling certificate.
Possess at least a minimum of 8 years of distinguished counseling experience
Experience gained by counseling in Grade A school set up is required
Must be able to counsel both teachers and students
Demonstrate counseling and teaching with distinction. Essential Skills: Strong knowledge of student counseling, including up-to-date understanding of area
advancements.
