The School Health Project Assistant shall support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of health initiatives. He/ she will be responsible for promoting student health and well-being, as well assist the School Health Project Officer in collaborating with educators, health professionals, and community partners.

- Assist with the day-to-day operations of health projects, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking meeting minutes.
- Help collect, organize, and analyze data related to health programs. Maintain accurate records and databases to track project progress and outcomes.
- Support communication efforts by creating promotional materials, newsletters, and updates for stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff.
- Establish peer support programs in at least 50% of participating schools, training a minimum of 3 student mentors per class to provide emotional guidance and support.
- Assist in planning and organizing health-related events, workshops, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively.
- Contribute to the development and dissemination of health education materials and resources for students and staff.
- Work closely with the School Health Project Manager and other team members to support project goals and foster partnerships with community organizations and health providers.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of health programs by collecting feedback and assisting in reporting outcomes to stakeholders.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: School Health Project Assistant
Minimum Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
Required Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in in administrative support, public health, or educational settings.
