Manage and conduct training programs in Fitting/Machining at artisan level, technician level and short courses in order to meet the skilled manpower requirements of KCM and external clients.
MAIN ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Implement a planned preventive maintenance program that will ensure that all training equipment and tools in the section are in good working order.
• Prepare budget and control costs in the section to ensure that expenditure is within agreed budget. Co-ordinate and conduct formative & summative assessments in the section in order to monitor progress and certify trainee competence.
• Supervise and conduct training of trainees and skills upgrading in accordance with KCM and TEVETA standards in order to ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills to trainees and a competent workforce.
• Manage and organize the section in order to ensure the provision of quality training.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Grade 12 school certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Training/Teaching Qualification
• 10 years’ working experience Good writing & oral skills.
