We are seeking a dynamic, dedicated and professional candidates for the position of the Security Guard and Office Compound Cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment at the Refugee-Led Organization Network (RELON) facilities while ensuring cleanliness and organization within the office compound. This multifaceted role is vital for supporting the overall operational efficiency of RELON’s BEACON project and upholding a welcoming atmosphere for staff, visitors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Security and Safety:

• Monitor and control access to the office premises to ensure the safety of all staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including the office compound, to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.
• Respond promptly to any security incidents, breaches, or emergencies, following established protocols for reporting and escalation.

1. Surveillance and Reporting:

• Maintain vigilance on security cameras or other surveillance systems, if applicable, to monitor activities within and around the office.
• Prepare and submit daily activity and incident reports to the management, documenting any noteworthy occurrences.

1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks within the office compound, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and garbage disposal to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, including restrooms, meeting rooms, and the reception area.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of meeting spaces and events held at the office, as required.

1. Customer Service:

• Address visitor inquiries with professionalism and provide assistance as needed while enforcing security protocols.
• Cultivate a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, encouraging positive interactions with staff and visitors.

1. Collaboration with Team:

• Work closely with the administrative team to identify and address any maintenance or safety concerns within the office compound.
• Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on security protocols and suggest improvements for workplace safety.
• Qualifications:

1. Experience:

• Previous experience in a security role or similar position, preferably within an organization that serves the community or supports vulnerable populations.
• Experience in cleaning and maintenance services is an advantage.

1. Skills:

• Strong observational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
• Good communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully with diverse individuals.

1. Physical Fitness:

• Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning, maintenance, and active security duties, which may involve standing for extended periods or patrolling large areas.

1. Language Proficiency:
