Under the supervision and guidance of the Admin Specialist, the Senior Administrative Associate will support the administrative unit and will be responsible for areas of facilities, office space, renovation, contract & vendor management, office supplies management, invoice processing, support on procurement of low value items in compliance with UNICEF administrative procedures, processes and policies and Budget Management.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work or university degree in Business Administration.
Work Experience:
- Seven years of progressively responsible work experience at national and or international level in assets, facility, contract, warehouse management and general administration support
- Candidates with bachelor’s degree require 4 years relevant experience
- Candidates with master’s degree requires 2 years relevant experience
- Work experience in emergency duty station is an asset.
Language:
- Fluency in written and spoken English language is required
Skills:
- Training and experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other UNICEF software such as SharePoint; knowledge of integrated management information systems required.
