As a Senior Data Analyst at Hubstaff, you will play a crucial role in driving our data-driven culture and decision-making process. Your expertise in data analysis, modeling, and strategic insight will help shape the future of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Perform complex data analysis to extract actionable insights influencing strategic decisions and business growth.
  • Model Development: Develop and implement statistical models to analyze trends and customer behavior.
  • Data Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s data strategy, ensuring optimal data collection, analysis, and usage.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex analytical insights to stakeholders and executive leadership, influencing key decisions.
  • Project Management: Manage and oversee data-related projects, ensuring they align with business objectives and deliver valuable insights.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analysis, maintaining high data quality and governance standards.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including engineering, marketing, and product, to ensure alignment of data initiatives with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, with a proven track record in a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in managing large datasets and complex data structures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
