Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Economics; or Business Administration; or Public Administration; or Management; or Commerce; or Entrepreneurship; or International Trade; or Micro-Finance; or Business Studies from a recognized University/InstitutionWorking ExperienceApplicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience which must have been served at the level of Inspection and Licensing Officer in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Inspection and Licensing Officer for performing the following duties:-
– Performing regular quality assessments/inspections on warehouse facilities; personnel and commodities;
– Monitoring operations at warehouses so as to ensure that they meet warehousing standards;
– Collecting commodity samples at warehouses and taking them to key stakeholders for testing for compliance of quality standards;
– Documenting inspection outcomes and submitting reports;
– Recommending improvements to the warehousing practices as per the standards developed by the key stakeholders for quality control;
– Training warehouse personnel and other stakeholders about quality control concerns;
– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
