Job Description

Job Title: Senior Manager – Corporate (SME) & MoMo Pay

Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer

Division – Commercial Operations

 

Mission/ Core purpose of the Job 

  • Drives sales within multiple strategic partner relationships for Fintech including developing or co-creating value propositions in conjunction with partners or organizations to realize existing and new value streams. Implements affordable and targeted sales opportunities across the region, to effectively promote Fintech products, services and value propositions

Responsibilities

Main Job Functions:

  • Cascade Group’s Business Development strategy, policies, tools and methodologies within the OpCo and ensure alignment with the same
  • Develop relationship with key accounts and ensure that adequate focus is lain on understanding account’s business requirement while selling solutions to them
  • Build relationships with commercial partners to enable joint initiatives for B2B, B2C sales
  • Create a more cohesive and effective cross-departmental delivery of commercial opportunities and closely integrate with Project management/ delivery team
  • Institute and implement effective metrics that track KPIs for the sub-function and monitor performance against those
  • Monitor field activation activities, ensuring that the deployed field canvassers and resources effectively deliver OpCo’s value proposition to the customers, keeping a focus on constantly increasing revenue generating subscribers
  • Keep abreast of market developments in the broader telecom industry landscape.
  • Manage all delegated budgets using correct financial procedures.
  • Lead all marketing and branding activities, with a focus on strengthening OpCo’s value proposition, key messaging and increasing brand awareness in the region
  • Liaise with industry stakeholders and participate in seminars / forums as a representative for the OpCo, sharing updates on products & services catered to by the OpCo with relevant industry experts
  • Build relationships with SMEs bodies to further the OpCo’s business development objectives
  • Develop global corporate customer and partner data base and seek commercial initiatives to expand revenue opportunities
  • Create commercial processes to support customer business requirements in collaboration with other stakeholders such as B.I, IT etc
  • Assist in the preparation of the Company Business Plan, by preparing the departmental budget and business plan by identifying CAPEX/OPEX requirements, operational and personnel requirements to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Other tasks and duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor academic degree coupled with an MBA/Masters

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Commerce or a related field will be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 to 8 years relevant experience in a similar position with at least 3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in Fintech, banking or financial services is mandatory
  • Successful track record as a senior management professional in delivering exceptional Fintech products, business growth & financial results

  • Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding emerging market.
