  • The Senior Manager, ICT Enterprise Systems Operations, is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the enterprise systems operations within the organization. This role involves strategic planning, management, and support of all ICT systems and services that ensure operational efficiency, security, and compliance. The Senior Manager will lead a team of ICT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with various departments to align ICT operations with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ICT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Provide guidance and support in resolving complex technical issues and ensure effective team development.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.
  • Ensure all systems are secure, compliant with relevant regulations, and meet organizational requirements.
  • Develop and implement operational procedures, best practices, and standards for system management.
  • Establishing procedures and processes that ensure compliance is also part of the job. This helps to minimize legal risks and ensures that the company can operate efficiently and meet its obligations.
  • Lead and manage ICT projects related to enterprise systems, including upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks, and address any issues that arise.
  • Ensure systems adhere to security policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
  • Oversee regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ICT operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise systems, including infrastructure, applications, and databases.
  • Competence and certification in Linux operating system administration, Virtualization, Storage administration, Server hardware maintenance, Backup backend integration, ITIL, ISO
