Reporting to the Coordinator- Planning & Reliability, you will be responsible for Collaborating with various departments to manage efficient flow of all materials.
Your duties & Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: –
- Prepare an efficient shipping schedule and evaluate all production schedules and determine all required materials and ensure availability of all materials.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure efficient movement of all materials and evaluate all materials sent to maintenance and production department.
- Prepare reports for all materials and manage transportation of materials from one department to another and prepare all materials min/max records on computerized system SAP.
- Coordinate with all departmental managers to ensure accountabilities for all materials.
- Maintain all sensitive data information and prepare appropriate project schedule.
- Maintain all information for status of materials on weekly basis.
- Collaborate with all stake holders to schedule all deliveries and manage all delays and ensure compliance to all material requests.
- Prepare required reports for all cost accounts and procurement to ensure compliance to all account payable requirements.
- Prepare required documents and drawings and maintain all files for material delivery sites and prepare efficient work schedule.
To be considered for the position, the applicant must have the following.
- Minimum Qualification of Trade Certificate in Mechanical
- A recognized Degree/Diploma/Trade Mechanical Certificate
- Experience in mineral processing plant maintenance.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in MS Office.
- Sound knowledge in parts and Mechanical work execution preferably.
- Competencies and experience
- Minimum 5 years (combined) relevant experience in resourcing/planning and execution in mechanical or related field.
- Plant Maintenance Systems (SAP–PM) module understanding.
An ability to develop an effective working relationship across all levels of the organisation
- HSSE and operations understanding.
- Well-developed time management skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work as a team player and work towards team goals.
- Sound management, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Sound analytical and process skills.
- Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook & Projects)
- Mining Operations experience is an added advantage.
