To lead the quality assurance function and conduct research to inform policy decisions for sector development.
B. Key Duties And Responsibilities
1. Manage the preparation, review, approval and implementation of standard operating procedures, ISO standards and other specification.
2. Monitor implementation of the quality standards set by the Authority
3. Oversee quality control of all publication processes for all reports, papers, etc produced, and review all publications before they are shared with internal and external stakeholders
4. Develop and implement procedures to inspect and report quality of all products and services delivered to the Authority
5. Develop and implement plans and monitoring tools to ensure improvement in quality of service
6. Review all publications before they are shared with internal and external stakeholders
7. Manage the conduct of quarterly internal reviews of all direct service areas and preparing quantitative and qualitative outcomes-based reports
8. Develop and provide training on a variety of quality areas
9. Review and validate secondary data and information from all directorates
10. Review report on investigation of customer and employee satisfaction and report on issues to Management
11. Track Key Performance Indicators of operations including quality, service and cost
12. Analyse stakeholder feedback obtained from Authority engagements such as trainings, workshops, etc
C. Person Specifications
1. Minimum qualifications
• An Honors Bachelor’s degree in either Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Law from a recognized institution.
2. Desirable Qualifications
• Master’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any of the above fields from a recognized institution is an added advantage.
2. Working Experience
• At least 5 years of practical experience in conducting research, 2 of which must be quality assurance at officer level in a reputable organization.
• Experience in Quality Management Systems is an added advantage
