Education:
- Master’s Degree in Political Science, Risk Management, Business Administration, Development, Humanitarian affairs, Law or related field from an accredited academic institution with seven years of relevant professional experience; or
- University degree with nine years of relevant professional work experience.
Experience:
- A minimum of seven years progressively responsible experience in research, analysis, operations management, project management or related fields is required;
- Experience providing services to or in a field operation of the United Nations Common System or a comparable international organization is desirable;
- At least seven years’ experience in formal risk or compliance management activities and analysis is desirable; and,
- Experience in working in/on South Sudan is desirable.
Languages:
- IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish.
- For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written). Working knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
