Responsibilities
Solution Execution and Strategy Enablement
• Responsible for developing, updating, and tracking a regional technology project roadmap aligned with Business Line priorities and
customer deployments.
• Translate Converged Solutions and solution sales strategies into actionable project roadmaps, ensuring that sales and project
delivery goals are aligned with broader MTN SA and MTN Innovation objectives.
• Ensures that technology resources are efficiently allocated to meet business objectives in a cost-effective manner.

Operational Delivery
• Oversee the operational delivery of regional technology projects, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and aligned with
business priorities.
• Monitor project progress and take proactive measures to address any delays or resource bottlenecks.
• Ensure the successful deployment of customer-facing solutions, coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet deployment
timelines and quality standards.
• Implement continuous improvement practices in project management and resource allocation to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide regular updates to the Converged solutions and Business Line stakeholders on the progress of sales and forecasting of
products, potential risks, and outcomes.
• Create and manage the product roadmap, outlining the vision, direction, and priorities of the Converged solutions product over time.
• Monitor product performance and user feedback to inform product improvements and new features.
• Ensure that technology resources are efficiently allocated to meet business objectives in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Track and monitor resource utilization, making adjustments as needed to optimize project delivery without compromising on financial
constraints

Financial Forecasting and Budgeting
• Monitor project financials to ensure alignment with budgeting and forecasting, addressing any variances and ensuring that financial
constraints are adhered to.
• Provide regular reports on the financial health of projects to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and informed decisionmaking.
• Oversee financial forecasting and budgeting for all projects, ensuring that financial goals are aligned with sales and technology
objectives.
• Track budget performance and ensure that project execution stays within financial constraints, adjusting as necessary to meet
business objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements while ensuring that workforce needs are adequately met.
• Identify opportunities to generate additional revenue.
Continuous Improvement
• Drive best practice, continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level within area (e.g. technology, processes
etc.)
• Ensure that the relevant analysis of market knowledge, trends and competitive information is gathered and assimilated
• Ensure competitors benchmarking and gap analysis is performed as appropriate and incorporated into business operations

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics,
Business Administration, Marketing or
related field
Experience
At least 5 years’ experience in sales
forecasting, budgeting, and resource
allocation preferably within the
telecommunications industry.
• Experience developing and managing
technology roadmaps that align with
business objectives and customer needs.
• Strong project management skills with a
track record of delivering complex projects
on time and within budget.
• Experience in collaborating with sales and
marketing teams for product launch and
positioning.
• Ability to deliver multiple solutions.
