Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants should be holders of an MSc/Mphil Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics, MSc/Mphil
Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualification.
At least 5 years experience in the food industry/government or tertiary institution.
One must have at least 5 O level including English and Mathematics.
A clean Class 4 Driver’s license is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
Operation, care, and maintenance of laboratory instruments such as UV/Vis
Spectrophotometer, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer, High-performance Liquid
Chromatography, and other related laboratory instruments.
Conducting laboratory and field-based practicals for undergraduate and postgraguate
students.
Training and supervision of junior staff and postgraduate students and Assist in the
development and designing of laboratory manuals.
Mainitaining safety and hygiene in the laboraties.
Be innovative and actice in food product development in line with Education 5.0
Asisting with teaching and research operations for both students and the academic staff in
the department.

Be in a position to handle and support departmental income generation projects.
Any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson.
