Your duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver training programs to light vehicle operators, including theory and practical sessions
- Assessing the abilities of individual drivers, leading classroom and on-the-road training sessions, observing driving practices and offering feedback, and ensuring adherence to all relevant safety policies and procedures
- Assist in the development and review of training programs for light vehicle operators.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of trainees to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records, including training certificates, attendance records, and evaluation results.
- Ensure that all training activities are conducted in a safe and controlled environment.
- Ensure that all training equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Advanced Technical Trade Qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience of light duty vehicles on various types including 4x4s
- Accredited TEVETA Trainer & Assessor
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
- Knowledge of the Driving regulations
- Work flexibly and make decisions quickly
