Your duties will include but are not limited to the following: 

• Design, develop, and deliver safety training programs that meet the needs of our employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Deliver training programs in a classroom, online, or on-the-job setting, using a variety of training methods and techniques.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, including assessing learner knowledge, skills, and attitudes, and identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and deliver training programs for trainers and instructors, to ensure that they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to deliver safety training programs effectively.
• Promote a culture of safety excellence within the organization, by encouraging employees, contractors, and visitors to take an active role in safety.
• Ensure that all safety training programs comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of safety training programs.

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following requirements:

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum Diploma in Health and Safety
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Health and Safety training
• Accredited TEVETA Trainer & Assessor
• Good interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, word))
• Excellent IT skills and knowledge of relevant software
• Ability to work flexibly and make decisions quickly
