Responsibilities
- Submit daily production (including commercial & scrap /attendance/maintenance reports for the entire machines to management.
- Provide machine care and maintenance for all the machines.
- Ensure proper communication with respective department heads & execution of instruction, requisition and ensuring proper use of raw materials, manpower and consumables.
- Support management on anticipated equipment failures.
- Give technical support during the maintenance of machines.
- Ensure quality of finished products.
- Organize, lead and supervise the activities of the staff under the job title holder.
- Maintain discipline of manpower in all the sections.
- Ensure safety at the workplace at all times.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from recognised University.
- At least 5 years of working experience as a Shift/Mechanical in a similar work environment
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of electronics systems is an added advantage.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Interpretation of electrical drawings and circuits.
