Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Sonography/Ultrasound with a minimum of one year experience or
- Diploma in ultrasound/sonography with minimum 3 years of experience
- Registered with Medical Council of Malawi
Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide general abdominal, Obstetric and Gynae, Heart (ECHO), neonatal cranial,
small parts, vascular and Musculoskeletal scanning services. - To perform ultrasound scanning duties to the required standards and to produce a
clinical report for each ultrasound scan undertaken. - To actively participate in matters concerning quality, clinical governance, clinical audit
and assessment. - To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional
development (CPD). - To adhere to hospital policy and procedures in terms of health and safety, data
protection and confidentiality. - To participate in individual performance review on an annual basis.
