Reporting to the Senior Manager of ICT, the Specialist Power Backup Systems support: Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support by managing and monitoring the following:
• Uninterruptable Power Supply Systems (UPS).
• Inverter Systems.
• AVS / AVR power systems.
• Generators and ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) and Power Switching systems.
• Electrical Power Distribution Boards (DB) for (Clean Power).
• Vendor SLA, management and Execution plans on PM and reporting.
• Power Systems Project management (Installation and commissioning).
• ATM maintenance and support.
Principal Responsibilities
• To ensure all Bank Power Systems are UP and RUNNING 24/7 and report all incidences partnering to Manager Power Systems.
• Make sure all Power Systems are working as per capacity and expected hardware requirements.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to Power systems.
• Follow up and make sure Preventive Maintenance in all power systems are done as per SLA.
• Provide Power Systems Preventive Maintenance (PM) report to management quarterly.
• Carrying out regular Electrical Inspection to ensure clean Power network is available.
• Supervision and inspections of Power Systems delivery, installation, and commissioning,resolving issues related to new installation.
• Ensure the Power Systems will deliver the agreed business objectives.
• Power Systems Analysis and advise management on resolving problems and system improvement.
• Provide effective level 1 and 2 technical supports for Branch & Offsite ATMs and POS, make sure they are up and running 24/7.
• Ensure 99% ATM uptime and Service availability.
• Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities related to ATMs.
• Follow up and make sure Preventive Maintenance in ATMs are done as per SLA.
• Coordinating the hardware & software installation and configurations of ATMs.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by as per standards and procedures, complying with codes and legal regulations.
Qualifications and Experience Required
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics &Telecommunication Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in Power systems service and repair.
• Experience and ability to work effectively in a dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced atmosphere.
• UPS Certifications on Entry to High Level (on at least one brand of UPS, Inverter and AVS)
• Generator Perkin, John Deer Engine Certification on Entry Level to High End.
• Technical knowledge of Power backup systems.
• Technical knowledge of ATM support and Maintenance
• Having interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Interactions with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
