•    Receiving instructions from the materials coordinator accordingly to ensure tasks are executed to the required standards and within the set time frame.

•    Carrying out such tasks as transportation of materials/spares as may be required.

•    Making follow ups to retrieve all tools and equipment issued out during the shift with a view of putting them back in the store before knocking off to avoid losses and for accountability purposes.

•    Carrying out cleaning and stacking of materials in the storeroom and other storage areas.

•     On daily basis fill in all the relevant shift information in the Job Card as is required (Date, Start Time, Stop Time, etc) before knocking off.

•    Keeping records of every item issued and ensure that the collector signs for it.

•    Adhering to all other assignments that are given that are lawful and fair.

•    Grade 12 Certificate.

•    Certificate in purchasing and supply will be an added advantage.

•    Computer Literate.

•    Good oral and written Communication Skills.
