SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Executing the stock management activities (receipt, storage, and issuance to projects or other departments of spare parts, tools, equipment and/ or other logistics materials), according to the line manager’s instructions and MSF standards and protocols, to ensure the overall functioning of MSF activities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing, receiving orders and deliveries for MS operational entities (MSF France, MSF- Swiss, Epicentre) with 5 different models of cars, Identifying and reporting potential discrepancies against orders. Monitor fuel store, tools boxes, and special tools.
- Updating and/or creating stock cards for all stock items immediately after reception of goods
- Storing materials in accordance with the system in force to ensure continuous availability ensuring that all items are well organised and correctly stored, well protected, fully identified and easily accessible
- Generate monthly and annual consumption for the different spare parts stocks. Prepare comparative price list for the different spare parts stock in collaboration with the purchaser.
- In conjunction with the line manager, performing physical stock counts in accordance with the frequency previously defined. Following up stock levels with regards to alarms thresholds, stock out and expiry dates
- Controlling store and limiting access only to authorized personnel and ensuring doors and other exits are secured. Immediately informing the line manager of any problems arising in the course of the work, particularly regarding damage, loss, attempted break-ins or theft in the warehouse
- Participate in workshop waste management by ensuring a good management of waste through the stock cards of the industrial waste produced in the workshop, ensure waste are well stored through a segregation. Facilitate the collection by the recycling companies and send out the report of the collection to the line manager.
- Train the internees on spare part management. Enforce company inventory policies and audit readiness. Ensure safety standards (PPE, chemical handling, flammable products storage).
- Adherence to MS Principles and respect of the rules and regulations (SOPs) in the workshop at all times. Any other relevant related tasks as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: A minimum of 2 years in stores, warehouses, mechanical workshops, or logistics Operations is desirable. Experience in automotive, generators, construction machinery or manufacturing is an added advantage. Previous working experience with MSF or other INGOs is an asset.
Competences/ Skills: Proficiency in stock-taking cycles, bin card management, and first-in-first-out (FIFO) processes. Excellent organization and time-management skills and quality control. High level of integrity and accountability.

Language: English is essential. French is an added advantage.
