Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, and store incoming deliveries of food, beverages, linens, cleaning supplies, and other hotel-related materials.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and movements using our hotel’s inventory management system.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to ensure the availability of essential items.
• Conduct regular stock inspections and report any discrepancies or issues to management.
• Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any supply-related issues.
• Ensure that storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Assist other departments, such as housekeeping and F&B, with their inventory needs as required.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to inventory control and security.
Requirements
• Previous experience as a storekeeper or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of inventory management best practices and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• A certificate; additional education or training in hospitality management is desirable.
