- To oversee non-process infrastructure (NPI) to ensure functionality and compliance with operational standards.
As Part of Our Team, You Will:
- Formulate and execute strategic plans for maintaining and optimizing non-process infrastructure assets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and production targets.
- Lead the lifecycle management of NPI assets, including roads, buildings, utilities, water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, and other infrastructure, to ensure long-term sustainability and reliability.
- Coordinate and distribute resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure effective execution of maintenance and infrastructure improvement plans.
Your Training, Skills and Experience Checklist:
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Civil Engineering or related field. Advanced degrees (e.g., Master’s or PhD) may be preferred.
- A Mincom Superintendent certificate of competency will be added advantage.
Additional Knowledge:
- Knowledge in Systems Applications and Products (SAP).
Experience:
- Several years of experience in infrastructure maintenance management, operations management, people management, demonstrating progression through roles of increasing responsibility.
- Competent experience in leading and developing teams.
- Ability to interact, influence and resolve conflict with various stakeholders.
Problem Solving Ability:
- Works in established systems and processes

- Imagines how tasks might be completed without direct, physical, hands-on feedback.

Technical Skills:
- Advanced practical application proficiency in infrastructure management in the area of facilities, water treatment plant, oxygen plant, workshops and offices.
- Appropriate Supervisor accreditation, strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all workgroups.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail to review and manage weekly plans.
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word Document, and Excel proficiency.
- Knowledgeable in SAP work management system.
- Capable of learning Fatality Risk Management (FRM) safety applications and possess a valid Driving License.
