Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honors Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Planning; or Land Use Planning; or Regional and Urban Planning; or Urban Planning and Design and Spatial Planning from a recognized University / Institution. A minimum of a Post Graduate qualification in either Urban Planning; or Landscaping Architecture; or Land Designing; or Land Management; or any other related course from a recognized University/Institution Registration with relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years working experience, three (3) of which must have been gained at Senior or Supervisory level in Government or from a reputable organizationDuties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Manager Development Planning for performing the following duties:-
- Developing and implementing land zoning and utilization procedures of the city land;
- Monitoring the constructions in the Authority to ensure compliance with the applicable building rules;
- Providing technical guidance in the preparation and production of land investments and development to divisions and parishes;
- Preparing schedules and managing meetings for vetting building plans;
- Conducting periodic inspection of construction sites;
- Managing the transformation of processes and databases in development control for integration in the Authority GIS database;
- Managing the performance and development of staff in accordance with the Authority Performance management system;
