This position is located in the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS), Juba. Juba is classified in the “E” category and as a non-family duty station. The incumbent will report to the Chief Centralized Warehouses Unit or his/her designated official.
Eligibility Criteria
Education:
- High school or equivalent diploma is required.
Job – Specific Qualification:
- Technical certificate/Training in at least one of the following areas: inventory/supply management or supply chain management is desirable.
Work Experience:
- A minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in inventory management, warehouse management, supply chain management or related area is required.
- Experience in supporting supply services for international peacekeeping or military operations is required.
- Proven working experience in UMOJA Warehouse Module and Assets Management Module is required.
- Possession of driving license and ability to drive 4X4 manual gear vehicles is required.
- Thorough knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications and ability to maintain databases and generate reports is desirable.
Languages:
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For the position advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
