Qualifications
Minimum BSc. Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Materials). MBA in Supply Chain Materials Management preferred
5 to 7 years in supply chain or related project management from industrial background
MAIN ROLE:
- Plant S&OP management:
- Consolidates plant demand plan: backlog + late orders + forecast.
- Takes in charge the S&OP process at plant level: prepares load/capacity plan for the next months, animates the S&OP meeting.
- Ensures that the capacity and workforce are adapted to plant demand plan.
- Ensures that the level and location of inventory are adapted to achieve objectives.
- Respects the privacy and confidentiality of clients and their personal information.
- Operational Supply Chain management:
- Plans weekly production orders in coordination with production teams according to plant demand plan; make the follow up (Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Manages plant Bottlenecks: appropriate loading & feeding.
- Plans procurement orders according to production plan (Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Is responsible for the Master Data accuracy (Item, Routine, BOM).
- Anticipates risks and manages crisis.
- Is accountable for inventory coverage (Raw material, WIP & Finished Goods) and for cost optimization within the plant.
- Manages the Raw Materials and Finished Goods stock including ensuring that the right products are at their right places.
- Managerial and Supervisory Duties:
- Assigns duties to and monitors activities of immediate team members to ensure achievement of performance targets.
- Identifies the training needs of immediate team members and organizes or recommends appropriate training for them.
- Assesses the performance of immediate team members and reviews assessments for lower level employees.
- Administers discipline affecting immediate team members in accordance with the company’s disciplinary code and procedure.
- Maintains advisory and consultive relations with all department heads.
