About the role:

The Talent Associate position is a high impact role with responsibility for sourcing, assessing and delivering top talent – primarily for teacher roles – for our private schools in Ghana. The ideal candidate will have experience in finding top talent within the education industry and the communities where we operate, and will leverage market data and talent acquisition expertise to strengthen the candidate pool. The Talent Associate will also be highly skilled at educating and guiding hiring managers on making high quality hiring decisions.

The Talent Associate will support the broader talent team and own the candidate experience by acting as a company ambassador to internal and external candidates. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in recruitment and talent sourcing within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

The Talent Associate, Private Schools will:

  • Develop and implement targeted recruitment marketing campaigns to attract the most exceptional and qualified candidates for our schools.
  • Proactively engage passive candidates through sourcing, pipeline building, and adopt new sourcing channels for our private schools in Ghana.
  • Identify, screen, and pre-qualify candidates through behavioural-based interviewing techniques.
  • Analyze and report on hiring data against baseline scores, real-time insights, time to fill, diversity statistics, and other key metrics regularly to inform strategy.
  • Provide complete, accurate and inspiring information to candidates and ensure an exceptional candidate experience for school-based hires.
  • Review current practices and improve upon them based on market experiences and other learnings.
  • Mentor, train and guide other internal team members in effective interviewing processes and candidate engagement techniques.
  • Provide extra capacity for the broader talent team in meeting their overall objectives.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of a combination of corporate and agency recruitment experience.
  • Experience recruiting top tier talent in the education industry or school level is a plus.
  • Experience leading full-cycle or end-to-end recruitment with minimal supervision and delivering on results.
  • Great at closing candidates and discussing compensation packages leading to acceptance.
  • Familiarity with local talent organisations/market in education and ability to strategically recruit top talent.
  • Experience in building and implementing a school level talent acquisition/recruitment strategy.
  • Experience in understanding and embodying the message and culture of the organisations you have recruited for.
