Responsibilities
- Lead Country Tax Compliance
- Manage the relationship with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and advise on compliance.
- Monitor tax regulations to keep our practices compliant and minimize risks.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
- Support Country Financial Operations
- Coordinate communication among external auditors, on-ground teams, and finance for timely audits.
- Manage tax communications with accurate documentation and prompt responses.
- Oversee Budgeting, Variance Analysis and Forecasting
- Lead annual budgeting and 5-year projections.
- Collaborate with country leadership to report Tanzania’s financial performance.
- Support departments in aligning with budget goals and making mission-driven financial decisions.

Qualifications
Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:
- 3+ years of work experience in accounting, consulting, or financial analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or ACCA qualification
- Understanding of Tanzania’s tax laws.
- Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to perform complex functions.
- Proficiency in both English and Swahili.
