Main roles & responsibilities:
To work under the daily guidance of a class teacher, providing basic professional instructions and training to the Lower School children in order to improve and develop social habits, hygiene, basic learning, oral language and common courtesies.
• To assist the class teacher in the practical organization and supervision of all aspects of classroom life to facilitate learning, with duties including display work, craft materials and care of equipment and books.
• To work as required by Head, performing duties appropriate to the needs of the school.
• To assist with supervision and control the movement of children within or outside the school premises as per school regulations, assisting with excursions play-ground duties etc. To maintain and compile records as required by superiors.
• To assist with co-curricular activities and participate in functions organized by the school and the PTA.
Requirements:
• Primary Teacher Certificate or Early Childhood Education Qualification
Minimum (2) years’ working experience
• Excellent oral & written skills
• Computer Literate
