Job description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Team Lead – Hospitality to oversee and coordinate daily hospitality operations in our facility in Ntinda. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to front-of-house staff, ensure superior guest experiences, and uphold high service standards. This role is ideal for a passionate professional with strong interpersonal and leadership skills in the hospitality sector.

 Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead, supervise, and motivate hospitality staff including waiters, receptionists, and housekeeping.
  2. Ensure consistent delivery of excellent customer service across all guest interactions.
  3. Manage day-to-day operations to ensure cleanliness, efficiency, and compliance with health and safety standards.
  4. Handle guest complaints promptly and professionally.
  5. Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement for hospitality supplies.
  6. Schedule shifts and manage staff attendance and performance.
  7. Conduct regular training and mentorship sessions to improve team effectiveness.
  8. Prepare and submit reports on staff performance, guest satisfaction, and operational improvements.
  9. Coordinate with other departments (kitchen, maintenance, security) to ensure seamless service delivery.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

– Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

– Minimum of 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role.

– Strong leadership and team management skills.

– Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities.

– Proven ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.

– Proficient in the use of hospitality software and POS systems.

– High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
