About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will oversee a dynamic team of collection officers, driving performance, strategy, and compliance to exceed client expectations. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident making data-backed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Collections Officers to exceed recovery targets.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for collections.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and client standards.
• Monitor KPIs and recovery trends, reporting insights to management.
• Coordinate escalations and follow-ups on non-performing accounts.
• Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to align efforts with business goals.
• Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in call centre management, including the use of auto-dialler systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Calm under pressure, with a tactful yet authoritative leadership style.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer literacy.
• Responsible, confident, and comfortable delegating.
