Your main responsibilities are:
Establishment of a monitoring system: review the existing monitoring mechanism, standardize processes, develop the general framework for project monitoring, clarify and identify essential training needs.
Support the monitoring and evaluation team: gradually facilitate the transfer of monitoring capacity; support the gradual transfer of data reporting within the government; support the creation of monitoring capacity within the Ethiopian government; support the design, implementation and analysis of sample-based surveys; guide staff and partners in the preparation of their progress reports.
Provide occasional support to teams in the organization and formalization of project activities; help to structure all stakeholders from families to local authorities in order to enable them to implement actions; support these structures in implementing decision-making processes based on the data provided, and train the teams.
Support for communication and advocacy to disseminate the innovative activities of the project: Support for the documentation of best practices, results and impacts of the intervention; design and publication of various presentation documents.
Support for the training process of project stakeholders ranging from government staff to farmers, through peer-to-peer training methods. Support in the design of the module for each peer-to-peer training with the operational team
Profile :
– You have training in rural development, project monitoring and evaluation or agriculture;
– You are proficient in English (minimum C1 level);
– You master Excel;
– you have practical experience in operating, managing or organizing rural development projects;
– You have practical experience in monitoring and evaluating agricultural projects;
– You have a strong capacity for formalization and you have experience in developing training modules;
– You are dynamic, autonomous and proactive.
Conditions :
24-month renewable VSI status mission
Monthly allowance of 1400 + field allowances
Complete social coverage (CFE + mutual) and repatriation insurance
A return plane ticket at the start and end of the mission from home to the mission location + an annual return plane ticket from the mission location to Inter Aide headquarters.
