- Advise partner organizations (e.g. ALDEPA) on gender mainstreaming and organizational development
- Cooperation with partner organizations to organize exchange formats with Cameroonian civil society on gender issues and women’s empowerment
- Monitoring and support for the implementation of the GIZ gender strategy and the gender strategy across the GIZ Cameroon portfolio
- Advise the regional management team on the theme of parity and gender in general
- Advise GIZ on gender mainstreaming projects, GIZ tools and processes and BMZ feminist development policy
- Training and awareness of GIZ staff on gender issues
- Planning and monitoring of internal measures in favor of gender equality
- Co-facilitator of the network of gender focal points in Cameroon
- Reports
- Preparation of communication products
- Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a social or political science subject (gender studies, development studies, sociology, ethnology) or in another relevant field of study
- 4 years of professional experience in the field of gender equality and gender mainstreaming
- 2 years of professional experience in development cooperation
- 2 years of experience working in organizational development, including designing participatory processes and networking formats
- Fluent French and English for work, German is a complementary skill
- Availability for business trips to Cameroon
- Skill in conflict management
- Negotiation skills
- Excellent ability to work in a team
- High degree of self-organization and structured working method
- Intercultural competence
- Knowledge of the country is an asset
