DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Providing high technical expertise in the area of troubleshooting, process knowledge, technical incidents, operation and maintenance for grinding, through site visits and using Digital and Remote services (i.e. Augmented Reality)
Specializing to own technology areas to provide expertise support in site operations and technology related incidents and inquiries or problems
Participating in technical warranty claim or customer complaint handling
Act as a trainer for internal/external technical trainings, for products
Expertise support for problem management, technical sales support, R&D and product development
Support IB Validation
CTO (Configure to Order) and ETO (Engineered to Order) quotation development through solution definition and technical research; inspection report reviews, recommendations and solution as requested
Supporting Field Services with Technical information/details
Supporting the sales process and assisting with the Technical information flow and part numbers
Assisting with developing and influencing and negotiations when required
Support overall sales funnel development
Ensure timely progress of sales cases throughout the different phases
Travelling throughout Africa and globally to support sales activities, problem determination, product training, etc. on a case-by-case basis
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
HND/BSc. Metallurgical Engineering / Process Engineering, with a minimum of 5 year’s field experience in Process Equipment or,
Must have extensive Sales experience
Experience of applications in minerals processing
Must have up to date understanding & knowledge as a technical product specialist
Understanding and experience of sales and financials
Familiarity with a broad range of Minerals Processing Equipment
Familiar with the core processes of the sales process
Experience in complex relationships
Advanced verbal and writing skills
Computer literacy and MS Office Skills are an inherent requirement
