Role Responsibilities
- Lead as the technical point of contact for clients using Simprints’ solution, understanding their challenges and needs, resolving the issues as needed or escalating to appropriate quarters. This will include travelling to project sites per the project’s needs to monitor, investigate, test, and conduct assessments at the highest quality standards.
- Contribute to the continued improvements to the solution by defining clear technical scopes, functional requirements and technical feasibility.
- Support the global TPM’s day-to-day on-ground technical project management needs, making decisive decisions and responding to requests, reviewing project configuration, and adjusting project settings as part of ongoing optimisation.
- Proactively identify technical risks early, taking ownership and/or collaborating with the team to mitigate them.
- Continuously identify, test, and implement improvements to user experience.
- Setup a user feedback and support mechanism

Requirements
- Significant product/solutions support experience, ideally in the ICT4D space. You’ve deployed and maintained projects in developing country contexts.
- Significant technical project design experience or solutions architecture, ideally in the tech for development space where you’ve designed projects with clients in developing country contexts.
- You have experience with user-centered design and user research
- Experience configuring or implementing data collection platforms, primarily DHIS2. Knowledge and experience in other data collection platforms such as CommCare, ODK, OpenSRP, etc., is a plus. You are knowledgeable about and have designed (UX and UI), tested, or implemented workflows common among frontline workers in development programs (e.g., health care, aid distribution, research, education) using tools such as Miiro, Figma, etc.
- Knowledge and experience working with agile methodologies. You have worked in an organization using agile principles and are familiar with typical technical project management tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, ClickUp etc.).
- Ideally: Interest in and/or experience in data analytics and visualization
- You have worked in a global organization / effective cross-cultural communication
