PURPOSE
To drive and maintain assigned vehicle in accordance with prevailing policies.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and generating reports.
- Keeping the assigned vehicle consistently clean
- Maintaining and updating a record of vehicle movement log book, insurance, license service cards
- Reporting technical and mechanical faults
- Keeping and providing safe custody of vehicle documents and keys
- Carrying out minor repairs and undertaking timely servicing of the vehicle
- Monitoring the security and safety of passengers and contents
- Preparing monthly and periodic reports on vehicle status and recommendations for repair and maintenance.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
- Uganda Certificate of Education with a principal pass in English
- Valid driving license/permit minimum class CM
Experience
At least three (3) years’ experience in driving in a reputable organization with an accident free proven experience.
Proven experience in Driving Trucks and other heavy duty vehicles will be an added advantage
