Responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory reception, storage, picking, packing, and shipping to various Business Unit (BU) clients. Ensure cost-effective, and organized deliveries through strategic planning and collaboration.
  • Monitor end-to-end warehouse workflows, establish standard operating procedures, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Enable teams to operate efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with organizational standards in a dynamic, innovative program setting.
  • Prepare contingency plans to address potential risks proactively and enhance accountability.
  • Provide analytical insights on your sub-department’s performance to enable data-driven operations improvements.Participate in annual strategic planning and support the execution of departmental Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

Qualifications

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, in Business, Supply Chain Management, applied mathematics, or operations management.
  • 4+ years FMCG, E-Commerce or warehouse management experience
  • Experience with SAP ERP or related systems
  • Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), as they will be used to analyze and presentdata, create reports, and make informed decisions.
  • Experience setting strategic direction, managing projects from idea to implementation.
  • English required in all locations. Other notable and useful languages is Swahili.
