The key purpose of this role is to maintain and improve all control and automation related equipment and systems, focusing mainly on field instrumentation and networks with an understanding of manufacturing execution systems.
Key roles and responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and healthy working environment

Maintain, calibrate, repair equipment and optimise plant and associated devices
- Locate plant, equipment, spares and relevant documentation / systems
- Plan and prepare the job
- Carry out repairs / maintenance
- Continuously improve (optimize) plant, process equipment and systems
- Operate plant and process equipment
- Calibrate instruments
- Perform basic maintenance in PLC’s with necessary approvals
- Supports the scoping of projects and upgrades to plant and process

Apply problem solving processes
- Utilize loss & waste and short interval control to identify problems
- Apply problem solving techniques to resolve situational problems

Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical / FTC in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 3-6 months on- the job training plus Vendor Maintenance
- Experience in Routine electrical and instrumentation maintenance or similar
- Experience in Brewing and utilities plants
Desirable but not essential:
- 6 – 9 months on the job plus Siemens S7 PLC Training
- Comprehensive Packaging, Brewing and E&F plants equipment and process knowledge
