Mission and objectives
GLOWA fights against human trafficking and the damage it creates in our communities throughout the Northwest region of Cameroon through community education to prevent trafficking, support for victims, and advocacy on their behalf. Through these works, GLOWA aims to nurture a culture of respect for human rights, particularly those of children and women, in the region and fight against the systematic abuses faced by the most vulnerable.

Armed combatants consider these girls and young women trapped in conflict related sexual violence as enemies with many cases of extra judicial killings of girls and young women by armed men. On another domain, children fathered by armed combatants and their mothers, victims of sexual violence are stigmatized and blamed by community members for errors of the combatants.
