The purpose of the role is to plan, co-ordinate, supervise, manage stocks and other warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for Receiving of stock both into the warehouse and on site where applicable
- Responsible for loading and dispatch of stock according to the picklist or any other relevant loading documents.
- Responsible for MHE, warehousemen, loaders productivity is tracking and continuous improvements.
- Ensuring transactions are processed efficiently and accurately to meet client demands
- Ensure all required productivity reports are generated accurately and submitted on time.
- Ensure stocks are fully accounted for at the end of each shift around operations
- Counting of all stock in the location both at the start and at the end of each shift and result entered properly on count sheet
- Participate in customer, regulatory and internal operational audits as required and work with the team to implement the agreed action plan
- Responsible for management of resources required to run a shift and ensure the resources are ready for timely shift start.
- Ensure stocks are properly put away as per JDA and ensure that the warehouse is kept orderly manner.
- Ensure all documents used to receive or load stock are properly stamped, signed and filled
- Manage the shift productivity and delivery of the shift KPI and targets
- Ensure accidents and incidents on a shift are reported immediately to the supervisor or manager
- Supervise the use of warehouse equipment and inspect the working condition to make sure they are up to standard
- Responsible for all Health & Safety issues around operation including adherence to PPE requirements and house keeping
- Responsible for enforcing adherence to return management processes and SOPs.
- Extract, track and share risk of near expiry, stock on hold position with the site lead.
- Ensure non- conforming stocks are stored in a blocked location both physically & in the system and are only unblocked with proper authorization and process flow.
- Report all defects in defect book and must make sure truck in good condition and clean all the time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business statistics, Supply Chain and Logistics mgt
- Alteast 2 Years warehouse/logistics experience
