Warehouse Officer at EcoGen will be responsible for developing plans to monitor storage utilization levels, managing warehouse facilities, reviewing operational quality and efficiency of warehouse storage and layout plans.
You’ll be in charge of:
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and conducting regular audits, this includes monitoring stock levels, reordering products when necessary and ensuring efficient storage and organization of inventory.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations within the warehouse, including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, picking and packing orders, and managing the shipping process.
- Implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, this include training staff on proper handling of equipment and materials, conducting regular safety inspections, and addressing any potential hazards, warehouse officer will also be responsible for implementing security measures to prevent theft, loss or damage to inventory.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to warehouse activities, such as inventory records, shipping/receiving logs, and employee records. Warehouse officer will be responsible for generating reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), such as inventory turnover, order accuracy, and warehouse productivity.
- Overseeing the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallets jacks, and conveyor systems.

- Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply/Logistics.
- At least 3 years’ experience in warehouse supervision/management procedures and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases.

Location, travel and start date
- You will be based in the Lilongwe Office.
- Traveling up to 40% of your time across Malawi.
