Warehouse Operations Management:
- Supervise and manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of TSFP food commodities and other supplies.
- Ensure proper handling, stacking, and storage of items in the warehouse.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse management.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available for program needs.
Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse transactions, including receipts, dispatches, and stock balances.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with inventory records.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of inventory status to the Logistics Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
- Implement measures to prevent and manage stock discrepancies, damages, and losses.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all food commodities and supplies are stored in accordance with WFP and Save the Children quality standards.
- Monitor the condition of stored items and take appropriate actions to prevent spoilage, contamination, and damage.
- Implement and monitor temperature and pest control measures within the warehouse.
Coordination and Communication:
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely and accurate receipt of supplies.
- Work closely with the TSFP program team to understand and meet their inventory needs.
- Liaise with transporters and other stakeholders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of supplies.
- Participate in coordination meetings and provide updates on warehouse operations.
Safety and Security:
- Ensure the warehouse is secure and that safety measures are in place to protect staff and inventory.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols within the warehouse.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory status, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all warehouse activities and transactions.
- Document best practices, lessons learned, and improvements made in warehouse management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in a humanitarian or development context.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
– Experience with WFP and/or Save the Children logistics and supply chain procedures is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
