Job Purpose:
Provide day-to-day service support for all Core Banking Application Services and other applications that support mission-critical business processes, ensuring business cycles are completed in accordance
with the Bank’s policies and operating procedures.
Key Result Areas:
• Administer Core Banking application services (e.g., FlexCube) and related peripheral applications, report, track, and coordinate resolution of service issues.
• Ensure service delivery quality, availability, and warranty in alignment with the ITIL framework.
• Manage disaster recovery and business continuity arrangements for services within the function.
• Test, install, administer, and upgrade services within the function.
• Ensure service requests and incidents/problems within the function are logged, prioritized, and resolved within agreed timelines.
• Develop, document, and continuously improve processes and procedures for systems within the function.
• Prepare and publish weekly and monthly system performance
reports.
• Execute end-of-day/close-of-business processes in line with approved operating policies and procedures.

Person Specification
Education & Training:
• BSc (Honours) Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field.
• ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management is an added
advantage.
Skills & Experience:
• At least three (3) years’ experience managing business applications running on WebLogic.
• Technical training in basic Linux systems administration.
• WebLogic systems administration experience.
• Product knowledge and relevant development certifications.
• Knowledge of PC and server operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
