KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Financial Management, Procurement, and Accounting
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive accounting of the office’s financial resources and expenditures. Act as a Certifying Officer to ensure procurement and financial transactions adhere to established procedures.
- Balance daily transactions of sales team with the system to minimize financial risk.
- Generate daily, weekly and monthly financial reports.
- Prepare financial statements and participate in audits.
- Efficiently manage banking activities and reconcile bank statements.
- Prepare tax retums and contribute to the development and review of annual budgets.
2. Human Resources (HR) Accountabilities:
- Administer day-to-day HR issues, ensuring compliance with Malawi labor laws.
- Participate in identifying staffing requirements and reviewing contracts.
- Provide or facilitate related training for office personnel.
- Maintain and update HR records.
3. Safety and Security Accountabilities:
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures related to safety and security.
4. Logistics Accountabilities:
- Supervise the maintenance, upkeep, and operation of technical facilities and installations, prioritizing a healthy and safe working environment.
- Perform any other related duties assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: University degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in management, finance, and administration.

- Ability to coordinate and monitor work plans, both individually and within a team.
- Provide quality and timely support and services
- Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and administrative processes.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Knowledge and experience in transport and logistics are advantageous
